इस प्रकार की पहलों के महत्व को रेखांकित करते हुए, डॉ. राजेश बग्गा, निदेशक, ने कहा, “Industry exposure भविष्य के professionals को shape करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है। ऐसे experiences विद्यार्थियों को classroom learning को real-world technological innovations और industry practices से जोड़ने में मदद करते हैं।”
इस visit का एक प्रमुख आकर्षण IoT-enabled drones का live demonstration था। विद्यार्थियों ने structural components, flight control mechanisms, और real-time data transmission processes का अवलोकन किया। सत्र में drones से जुड़े संभावित security risks, जैसे signal jamming और GPS spoofing, तथा इन threats को कम करने की strategies (strategies to mitigate these threats) पर भी चर्चा की गई।
visit के दौरान दो expert sessions आयोजित किए गए—एक Internet of Things (IoT) पर और दूसरा Cyber Security पर—जिन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को domain-specific insights प्रदान किए।
Internet of Things (IoT) पर आयोजित session में विद्यार्थियों को sensors, microcontrollers और internet connectivity के माध्यम से smart devices के working के बारे में बताया गया। विद्यार्थियों ने smart homes, agriculture, healthcare और industrial automation जैसे sectors में इसके practical applications को समझा, जिससे उन्हें यह जानने में मदद मिली कि IoT किस प्रकार modern industries को transform कर रहा है।
Cyber Security session में phishing, malware और network attacks जैसे prevalent cyber threats के प्रति awareness पैदा की गई। विद्यार्थियों को encryption और ethical hacking techniques जैसे preventive measures (preventive measures) से भी अवगत कराया गया। Industry experts ने penetration testing में उपयोग होने वाले advanced tools का demonstration दिया और digital systems, विशेषकर IoT devices को secure करने के महत्व पर बल दिया, जो अक्सर vulnerabilities के प्रति susceptible होते हैं।
इस visit का coordination Mr. Amarpreet Singh और Mr. Vikas Kumar, Assistant Professors, School of Engineering द्वारा किया गया, जिनके मार्गदर्शन में विद्यार्थियों को एक seamless और impactful learning experience प्राप्त हुआ।
